Connecting You and your Baby

to have and to hold

Holding your baby is one of the most natural things we do for both baby and parent. But what happens when every time you put your baby down they cry? What happens when you need both hands? But you also want your baby to be content, happy, to sleep, develop and thrive?

Let me tell you a secret not everybody knows. It has been around for centuries; many cultures do it so they can carry on with their daily life.

Once you know you’ll wonder how you ever existed without it.

Let me show you how to carry your baby, let me show you the world of BABYWEARING

I'm Becky. I started babywearing my in-arms baby in 2010, and had no idea the importance and significance it would have had on my life. I am passionate to get parents doing what instinctually they already know... that our babies need and want to be close to us. Babywearing enables us to feel magic and freedom, it gives parents and carers, so 2013 I trained to become a carrying advocate and sling consultant, which fitted in perfectly with gentle parenting workshops for babies and toddlers that I was teaching at the time.

It makes me so happy to see the relief and love in a parent’s eyes when they put their baby in a sling comfortably and confidently for the first time; to see that bond and sense of freedom.

The Mothers Instinct was formerly called Sling Dreams.
Sling Dreams was born out of love for helping others feel the benefits that I felt, from enabling others to feel empowered the way I did after discovering the closeness and bond created from holding our babies, the calm your baby feels by being held next to your heart and for them to feel safe being beside their whole world that is you.  Prior to this I also used to run a busy local sling library, which helped me to gain skills and knowledge of all things slings and baby carriers.

Babywearing gives you a freedom you would not achieve with a buggy, pram or holding babe in arms. Especially if you have older children or dogs. The relief in just being able to put baby in a sling allowing you to have two hands to tend to all yours and other needs. While baby is content being next to you.

We will show you how to calm and comfort your baby

So all you have to do is...

Just add sleepy dust.
